As a Health care assistant I take blood samples and blood pressure, offer quit smoking advice, give b12 and flu vaccines, suture and remove dressings, do electrocardiogram (ECGs) and help with minor surgery. I also treat and respect patients’ dignity and confidentiality and work as part of a nursing team. I work part-time and have been with the practice since the year 2000.
